About the Role

TeamBA is seeking a team of six enthusiastic and engaging promotional staff to manage and deliver activations at busy shopping centres. Staff will be responsible for inviting members of the public to spin a prize wheel and encouraging participation in a fun and energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with shoppers and encourage them to take part in the activation.
  • Confidently explain the rules of the prize wheel and distribute prizes in line with campaign guidelines.
  • Set up, manage, and pack down the activation equipment.
  • Maintain a lively, positive atmosphere throughout the activation period.
  • Represent our client’s brand professionally and positively at all times.
  • Complete basic post-event reporting as required.

Person Specification

Essential:
  • Outgoing and Confident: Able to comfortably initiate conversations with the public and keep energy levels high throughout the day.
  • Professional Presentation: A polished, approachable appearance and manner.
  • Reliability: Able to commit to selected dates, arriving on time and prepared to work.
  • Team Player: Works collaboratively with other team members and the TeamBA activation manager.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Capable of adjusting approach based on different shopping centre environments and customer interactions.
  • Customer-Focused: Puts the public’s experience first, ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in promotional work, events, customer service or hospitality.
  • Availability for multiple activation dates across the programme.
  • Basic reporting skills (e.g., noting feedback, counting participants, recording prize distribution).

Availability

Activations will take place on Saturdays during the following months:
  • June 2025
  • July 2025
  • September 2025
  • October 2025
You will have the opportunity to work on up to 10 activations across these dates, with two shifts per day (dependant on the shopping centre)
