We are a leading end to end event management specialist. We are experts in helping our clients communicate and engage audiences through live, virtual and hybrid event experiences. We help our clients connect, engage and evolve.

We offer a full range of event management services for a wide range of corporate clients including West Midlands Trains, Buckingham Group Contracting and Transport Focus. We provide honest and creative advice for our clients ensuring that our full range of services are tailored for you.

We’re team players, passionate and talented experts who deliver exceptional results. We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service with one dedicated account team. This tailored approach, along with our flexibility of in-person and online services, has allowed us to build strong relationships with our clients in the transport sector across the UK.


Luke Bodin

Luke is a young entrepreneur, passionate about events and cycling. He started his career working at Mott MacDonald in Transport Planning, then worked as a Consultant on a range of rail projects in the West Midlands.

Luke co-founded BA Events in December 2016 at the age of 18.

His favourite quote is “whatever it takes” from the Avengers film and he is still trying to get over the death of Iron Man. He loves travelling, sport and food.

Kate Tichelly

Kate is our Event Planning Assistant. She is involved in all of our events and is the one that really takes the pressure out of your hands! She is certainly the most organised member of the team and is the magic ingredient behind making everything happen.

In her free time, Kate enjoys walking the family dog called Ozzie.

Ian Walters

Ian is an experienced Director with a history of working in the UK railway industry. In addition to his support to BA Events, Ian is the co-founder and Managing Director of SLC Rail. A qualified accountant and finance director by background.

He adopts a ‘tell it as it is’ philosophy in everything he does, and is driven, enthused by work, family life and Watford Football Club.
Ian became a Director of BA Events in November 2017.

Emma Gascoigne

Emma is our marketing and communications expert. She helps our clients build their brands and profile, which could be through creating engaging marketing materials or engaging with the media.

In her free time, Emma enjoys going for runs (very long ones!) and also has two cats.

Ben Davies

Ben is an experienced photographer and videographer. He was always interested in film and was inspired by ‘Hollywood’ style films. He studied at the University of Worcester where he realised that amazing breath-taking video wasn’t just in Hollywood.

Ben really helps bring our events to life with exceptional video and photo. To prove that – every single photo and video you are seeing on this website was taken by Ben from an event we ran for a client.

Ben is passionate about cycling, extreme sports and travelling.

Andrew Penn

Andrew is our superb design and development specialist. He supports us with all types of creative design work, making sure all of the event material we produce for clients is eye catching and engages our audience.

Andrew studied in Bath University where he learned about design and development.

In his free time Andrew loves fishing – taking part in tournaments around the UK.
