Our reviews

We engaged TeamBA as our dedicated technical management and production team for our 20th anniversary Community Rail Awards, which were held in Newcastle Civic Centre in March 2025.

From the outset, the team, led by Luke Bodin, were professional, accommodating and went above and beyond to support us and to ensure that we delivered an exceptional event, which we absolutely did!  TeamBA’s management of the event production on the day was exceptional, and we have already secured their services for our 2026 Awards in the Midlands.

Luke leads from the front, he is a positive, consummate professional, with a brilliant eye for detail. His priority is to provide the client with top quality service, and that ethos runs through the whole team, along with that wonderful positive attitude.

We worked especially closely with Libby, who created a suite of video slides of the quality you might see at more international style Awards, and even through multiple amendment cycles, she was always patient and professional. Rail Delivery Group used TeamBA’s expertise and support to successfully deliver our first purely online rail industry performance seminar in March. Luke Bodin

Luke is a young entrepreneur who co-founded TeamBA in December 2016. He is the Managing Director of the business who is responsible for delivering great events for our clients.

His favourite quote is “whatever it takes” from the Avengers film franchise and he is still trying to get over the death of Iron Man. He loves travelling, sport and food.

Ian Walters

Ian is an experienced Director with a strong background in the railway industry. In addition to his role at TeamBA, he is the co-founder and Managing Director of SLC.

As a qualified accountant and finance director, Ian brings a wealth of financial expertise to the team. Known for his ‘tell it as it is’ approach, Ian is driven by his passion for work, family, and Watford Football Club.

Ben Dalton

Ben is our Operations Director at TeamBA, overseeing the seamless execution of projects and ensuring every event exceeds expectations. Before joining the team, Ben was the Director of HR consultancy, E3i, where he honed his skills in leadership and strategic management.

Libby Dale

Libby is our Lead Graphic Designer, bringing a wealth of experience in crafting high-quality digital and print assets for a variety of creative projects. Her keen eye for design ensures every project is visually impactful and aligned with your vision.

Mike Travers

Mike is our talented videographer, bringing years of experience in documentary filmmaking, creative video production, and storytelling through film. His eye for detail and passion for capturing powerful visuals make him an essential part of the team.

Neil Micklethwaite

Neil is the Chairman and a Director at TeamBA. Neil is a dedicated and dynamic professional, combining strong leadership skills, business acumen with extensive experience gained from working in senior commercial, business development, customer service and financial environments.
